Research On The Measurement System Of Material Testing Machine Based On ARM

Material testing machine is one of the basic instruments, which is used to test mechanical performances of material, and it has widespread application ranges. It is mainly composed of the mechanical parts, loading and testing system. As an indispensable component of the testing machine, testing system plays a decisive role to the performance of the machine. The old test system has been gradually losing ability to meet the people's demand with the development of experimental science, the advancement of technology and the increase of application demand. In order to expand the applications of traditional material testing machine and improve the intelligence, accuracy and efficiency of the testing system, a growing number of high-tech are being introduced into the field of testing system of the material testing machine.The project is a technical development project, which is commissioned by enterprise. The goal of the project is to develop a testing system for the material testing machine. According to the requirements of the entrusting party and the research on the technology and development of testing system of material testing machine, a new kind of testing system is designed in this thesis, which is based on Universal Serial Bus(USB)and ARM technology with data acquisition, analysis and display assembled.On the basis of study on USB protocol and ARM technology, the design of the hardware, the Firmware program, the USB driver program and the windows application program are deeply discussed in this thesis.At the end of this thesis, practical measure and test were carried out to evaluate the performance of the system. The result shows that the system is stable and reliable, and each expected function of the system is achieved.
