Design And Implementation Of Web-Based Management System On HiNOC

Network management is an important component of the computer network and communication network. It aims to satisfy both the net proprietor's management needs and user needs by ensuring that the network equipment function reliably, safely and efficiently. As an application of web technique in network management, the web-based management offers the webmaster more powerful management ability than traditional tools.This dissertation discusses the working principles and key techniques of the web-based network management. And combining with the project of"the HiNOC cable bridge access system development", it introduces the design and development of the web-based network management software for the HiNOC bridge equipment in the HiNOC cable bridge access system. This network software implements the device management in web-based management mode. The needs of network management software are analyzed in detail and the functional mode is designed in this paper. So this software can implements the management of configure, failure, performance, counting and security. Associated with analysis of needs, the key technologies of this network management software is described here including data check using the JAVAScript technique, local and remote hardware upgrade using FTP technique, dynamic displaying data and automatic malfunction alarm by Java Applets and data association between the data in HTML and the device data using RCB technique. Finally, the debug method and testing result are given. It proves that the design of the software is correct and it functions well.
