The length time of Mobile access network can be felt directly by the users, so it is one of important guidelines on accept of network quality of service.The aim of traditional network optimization is to reduce the TCH drop rate, the TCH blocking rate and to enhance the handover success rate. Based on the traditional network optimization, the focus of network optimization in this paper is the length time mobile access network. Jumping out of the traditional thinking and concerning the awareness of users, transformation from the network quality to the optimization of awareness of user is carried out in this paper.The paper has accomplished the theoretical analysis aiming at access process. At first, general analysis from the switch side to the wireless side. Secondly detail analysis is carried out from four aspects: the first is the effect of SCI on length of time Mobile access network. The second is the effect of the second paging timer on timing setting. The third is effect of access parameter on length of time Mobile access network. The last is the effect of repeater and boundary of network on length of time Mobile access network.According to the analyzing results the plan of optimization is set down, at the same time experiment measurement has been carried out choosing local the network element in the current nets. Statistical analysis through data of measurement validates the analytical conclusions and plan of optimization in this paper. Optimization -validation is mainly accomplished from the revision of SCI and initial power to the adjustment of repeater and the test of network boundary. Comparing with all data, the key point and direction of optimization are determined which will provide the important reference and rule for connection optimization in the future.
