| For adapting request of management and safe production of coal mine, a kind of mine personnel attendance and location system based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is designed based on practical production of mine. The system has a series of advantages, such as stable capability, a high personnel identification rate, a low error rate, convenient usage, low cost, and so on. It takes an important role in safe production and management of coal mine.Attendance and location system is divided into two parts: attendance device and location device. Attendance device is used to register time and verify identification when miners come in or out of coal mine. Location device can locate person under coal mine, and is convenient for manager to control and manage.The conception of RFID is introduced firstly. With several automatic recognition technologies, advantages of RFID are showed. Then composition and classification are discussed.Based on RFID technology, the design of personnel attendance device is given. For finishing attendance, Mifare1 Radio Frequency card from PHILIPS Company is selected to timecard. Reader for Mifare1 card is designed and attendance management system is developed. Moreover, iris recognition technology is used to verify identification when carrying out attendance.In order to know miner's dynamic position under coal mine, mine personnel location device is designed. The device is composed of Radio Frequency card, reader and control center. When a miner passes to a reader, the portable location card will send personal information out. The reader waits for request of PC after saving information, and uploads data in memory to PC once receiving commands. In order to lay no pipes, advanced Power Line Carrier (PLC) technology is used to carry out data exchange between PC and reader. As to tag collision happened when multi-miner pass reader at the same time, Aloha algorithm is applied to solve collision.In the end, a series of capability test for the system is done, and test result is analyzed. |
