Research And Implementation Of IPSec Protocol Based On Wireless Communication

IP (Internet Protocol) is not only applied to Internet, but also becoming the common protocol of the Network Layer of wireless system rapidly. How to ensure the safety of the information transmitted in the network based on IP, is increasingly focused on.IPSec protocol is one of the most important core technology respects to Network Security. IPSec is designed to provide security services and protection for IP Layer and upper layer protocols, including access control, connectionless integrity, data origin authentication, protection against replays, confidentiality and limited traffic flow confidentiality. When employed in network based on IP, IPSec protocol can avoid security troubles during the disposal, storage and employment of the data information.Firstly the architecture of IPSec compliant system, especially the IKE and ESP protocols is given in detail in this paper. Secondly, the IKE protocol is implemented in software, the difference between the software and the hardware implementation of the DES algorithm is analysed, and driver of the hardware which can perform the DES algorithm is completed under the real time operating system VxWorks. Finally,the IPSec module is integrated and tested in the wireless network based on IP, the performance satisfies the safety request of the system,and is applied in production.
