| A wireless Ad hoc network is a collection of wireless mobile nodes that are self-configure to form a network without the aid of any established infrastructure. Therefore, it is widely applied in the battlefield, in emergency conference and in post-disaster rescue.For the attributes of the wireless Ad hoc network, such as wireless, random moving, multi-hop and etc, presents many subjects to the Ad hoc network management. But the first problem of the Ad hoc network management to be solved is the way of collecting the management data. Now the main way to collect the management data in Ad hoc network management system is clustering the network. The logical way of clustering the network can simplify the management task. So it needs the appropriate algorithms of clustering and cluster maintenance to manage the clusters and collect the message of the clusters.Most of the Ad hoc network management protocols are verified by simulations, little of studies are verified by the materialized wireless Ad hoc network. In this paper, a wireless Ad hoc network based testbed is realized, based on this, the minimum ID clustering and cluster maintenance are realized, and they can cooperate with other management modules to form an integrated Ad hoc management system, and can supply the accurate cluster message for the agent process. They could promote the realized verification of Ad hoc network management system and the clustering and cluster maintenance. |
