With the development of computer and network technology, Instant Messaging has been a major platform of today's network. Traditional instant messaging software has a lot of shortcomings and deficiencies, such as the simple identity authentication, the lack of data transmission confidentiality, and the inconvenience of maintenance. So traditional instant messaging software can not be simply to apply in government and enterprise organizations. To make up for these shortcomings and deficiencies, we have the traditional instant messaging system for a number of improvements to meet the urgent need of the government and enterprise organizations, and have designed to develop a new type of security instant messaging software based on USBKey.The system has greatly enhanced the efficiency of Web application based on B/S structure, using the latest released ASP.NET AJAX technology of Microsoft, in the situation in which the browser Client processes Web application without interacted with the Server. In order to ensure the security of the user, the system designed and achieved two identity authentication program using USBKey, one authentication program based on the impulse-response model, another based on digital certificate model. In order to protect the transmission security, the system encrypted the transmission information with GOST crypto-algorithm. with the above benefits, the system provide a convenient, fast and secure business communication platform for the government and enterprise organization.
