The Research On Automatic Test System For Phone Alert

In the past years, because of the strongly competition and high increased marketing, there is a higher request for mobile phone vendors. There is a big challenge for all mobile phone manufactories to provide high quality, multiple function products and improve productivity. As one of the biggest mobile phone manufactories; Motorola is always keeping new product development, productivity improvement and product quality improvement.Based on year 2006 order forecast, Motorola Tianjin manufactory has to build 7~8 million phones from September to November, it is a new record and Tianjin manufactory never do this before. In order to meet this challenge, a lot of work for improving productivity and quality has to be done. As a test engineer of Motorola Tianjin manufactory, the author of paper developed phone alert automatic test system successfully after half year hard work, and this project contributes a lot to productivity and quality improvement.For phone alert automatic test system, the author provide project design idea, write and debug test program, develop the test program algorithm, evaluate and resolve evaluation problem, and participate the hardware circuit design.Now, the phone alert automatic test system has been applied in Motorola manufactory production line, and it is doing well. It can avoid the defects which cause by operator's subjective judgment and operation's judgment gap, so it improved product quality obviously, meanwhile, this system make operation easy and decrease the labor strength, so it improved productivity a lot too.
