The Study And Realization Of The Communication Access Network Optical-fiber Technology

With the rapid development of telecommunication and informationtechnique,a deeply transform is going on in the telecommunication field. Because of the fast increasing Internet, the traditional method of the circuitexchange will gradually be replaced by the way of wrap. The business classes of the customer also is changed into multifarious Broad Band business from single sound business, such as meeting television,long-distance education,broadcasting as needed, alternant multi-media communication and family shopping and so on. The way to pass the Broad Band information to the user and realize the point to point all digital multi-media communication is the focus in the communication field in the world. With the broad using of the technique of SDH, the bone net of the telecom net is basically accompanied by these factors, e.g.fiber, Broadband and digit. While the primary stimulant narrowband circle will be a big hindrance to block the broadband development of the current telegraphy net.Firstly, this paper mainly summarizes the technology of Access Network. Through the brief instruction of the definition of the Access Network, physical reference model, access to technology, development trends and other related content and so on, the paper shows that the fiber-optical access network is an inevitable trend of the Access Network. At present, mainstream carriers in the first kilometers of access to the main network are still twisted-pair copper-based networks. In order to achieve the bandwidth to meet the growing demand for the realization of optical fiber access, the existing copper access must be reformed.Secondly, this paper introduces the copper wire and fiber-optic access the two main access network access technology. Focus on fiber-optic access in particular passive optical network (PON-Passive Optical Network) and the current mainstream of FTTx (Fiber To The x/some place). Thirdly, the solution of "the replancement of copper cables with optical cables" was concretly research and ananysised. Due to the existing copper access having several defects, such as it cann't meet the business requirements any more; copper access occupied a large number of tube resources; copper prices lead to increased investment in construction costs; increased maintenance costs, and other ills. China Netcom, China Telecom, and other mainstream telecommunications operator have made access network upgrade strategy - "the replancement of copper cables with optical cables"strategy. The so-called "the replancement of copper cables with optical cables"means to refer different environmental conditions and the use of fiber optic cable to replace the existing copper access technology upgrade program. "The replancement of copper cables with optical cables" that is, FTTx, is an inevitable trend of development and options of development of broadband.Finally, this paper studied Dalian metropolitan area network (MAN)'s solution,design standard of "the replancement of copper cables with optical cables", and designed two branch offices's technical program and implementation plan of "the replancement of copper cables with optical cables".
