| With the increasing coverage of broadcast and television and improving requirements for broadcasting quality, the broadcast and television transmitting station has higher and higher demand on automatic supervisory system. The original supervisory system programmed with VC++6.0 has a structure of C/S. It needs to be in the same local area network as the transmitter, and there is no way to share data with other platforms systems (e.g. equipment maintaining system). This will not only increase the maintenance cost, but also cannot guarantee broadcasting security.Under this background, this thesis proposes a solution for transmitter supervisory system based on Web Service, a cross-platform, cross-network (across the firewall) system. Based on the original transmitter supervisory system, our solution is able to achieve a wider range of supervisory by using the features and advantages of Web Service in System Integration Technologies.The innovations of the system are listed as follows. The first is tendency to integrate. The system makes full use of platform-independent feature of Web Service technology, and simplifies the integration process. The second is simplicity and flexibility. The framework of Web Service technology is easy for development, maintenance and usage. The last one is low cost. Web Service is a low-cost heterogeneous system integration solution which saves a great deal of consultation fees and development costs.With Visual Studio 2008 as its development tool, and Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 as its platform, the system uses background database of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 to implement its functions in User Login, User Management, Role Management as well as Transmitter Monitoring. It comes to work as the new generation transmitter monitoring system and plays an increasingly important role. |
