The Study Of MAXIMO System Implementation In CNOOC

China National Offshore Oil Company(Hereafter refers as"CNOOC")is the big oil Company, which relies on the operation of lots of equipment and assets. In the times that the oil prices vary rapidly in the international market, after the self evaluation and research to the other oil companies, CNOOC choose to apply the MAXIMO system. MAXIMO system is the esset management software from MRO Company. It's the software maily focus on the asset management and facilty reparing.By the study of the MAXIMO system implementation in CNOOC, this thesis is trying to study which areas the Companies should focus in the ERP system implementation process. How to prepare before the implementation from the changing of management thought, basic data collection to the decision maling on choosing software? How to get the involvement of the operation crew, how to deal with the relationship between the industry computer and the MAXIMO system? How to get the MAXIMO system involved at the design and engineering stage? All these questions have been discussed in the thesis. Meanwhile, in comparing with the other well known international companies in the ERP application process, we can look for the gap in between. On the other hand in analysis of the system execution process, it could be learned what benefits and shortages the system has brought. And if the system application plan could be reviewed, what measures and on what areas shall we put on more efforts to make better results. Through the above study, it should be one positive reference for the system application of others.
