| The digital signal processors has been widely used in the field of communication, multi-media, information appliance, along with development of the digital signal technology, and it can achieve more and more tasks. It makes DSP embedded system the key in 21 century that the widely using and potential of it. But designing DSP production becomes more and more difficulty, periods are longer, because of system's complicacy, DSP software specialization, and standardization of different engineers. There is obvious bottleneck effect between demand of market and difficult of designing. It can recede that difficult and shorten the time of designing using TI's eXpressDSP.In this paper, the DSP software design method using TI's operating system DSP/BIOS and reference framework RF is studied deeply based on the application system software of TI, spectrum analysis, and the theory of embedded software. Also, it's used in the inspecting system of HFC network by which the goal is to inspect noise in the HFC channel and give reference data.Firstly, TI DSP eXpressDSP algorithm standard software's reference framework and DSP/BIOS are deeply studied in the paper. Also, the flow of the spectrum analyzer software and framework of it are designed based on functional requirement and main device's chosen of the system combined with the flow of common embedded system software design.The system software is divided into some sections, and each section is designed particularly. The emphases are that studying on the core algorithm of Fast Fourier Transform, how to read and transfer real-time data by C6713 EDMA, and dividing and scheduling rules of DSP/BIOS threads.The technologys of DSP real-time inspection, cache optimizing and DSP/BIOS optimizing are discussed in the paper also. In the process of software designing, these technologys are very key, which ensure the software function.Finally, based on the above, technology of auto loader and how to firm program in external FLASH are discussed in the paper. The programes including system initialization and second bootloader are designed. Function of auto boot while system on power is realized.A spectrum analyzer is completed by the practice of HFC network inspection system applying the method of DSP software. At the same time, the pratice prove that TI's eXpressDSP is helpful to simplify designing of DSP application system. |
