In daily lives,people have to share various of resources or service.During a given period,conflict of supply and demand will be inspired when resources allowed to be shared are too limited but user's demands are too large. At that case,a booking system can release the conflict by adding communication between resources supplier and user.Nowaday,in order to improve student's innovative ability and the using efficiency of experiment apparatus,universities are advocated to supply students with open experiment platform freely.And then, conflict is inspired by the lack of experiment platforms and the various demands of students. To release the conflict, one way is that implementing a proper booking system to make a dynamic schedule for open experiment.As internet is widely used and service of mobile communication is becoming better and the charge of mobile communication is decreasing,booking system which is based on internet and mobile telephone short message will become very useful.As university student always has a contactless IC(Integrated Circuit) card which is made by school,so an open experiment booking system which is based on radio frequency identification technique, internet and mobile telephone short message will release the conflict between the lack of experiment platforms and the various demands of students.Moreover,applying ARM(Advanced Reduced instruction set computing Machines) processing unit in hardware circuit instead of using desktop computer,will reduce the cost of booking system.In this thesis,design and implementation of student experiment booking system which is based on ARM/WEB/SMS(SMS,Short Message Service)/RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) is discussed ,and some contents may be emphasized.First,by introducing current applications and development of booking systems,designing reasons and gists of the booking system design project are mentioned, methods and feasibility are analysed, objectives of the desige project are also described.Second, foundational knowledge and technique needed in the project is introduced,including ARM architecture, processing unit core andμC/OS-II real time operating system.Third,hardware structure of booking system is introduced,specially the contents of contactless IC card reader and GSM(Global System for Mobile communications) communication module are emphasized.Four,software designing of booking system is discussed,including system function stucture,data stucture,protocol of TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol) and HTTP(Hypertext Transfer Protocol) and Wiegand,AT(Attention) instructions.The implementation of some key application programs are concretely analysed. The porting ofμC/OS-II and the use of software development toolkit are also mentioned.And then,some tests about electrical parameters and software functions are taken.At last,summary and prospect of the whole project are described.
