This paper rebuilt the velocity regulation system used in mine, based on direct current chop theory, as well as combined with digital process chip TMS320LF2407 and intelligent power module PM600HSA060. The good performance can be present if adopt the method describe above, better performance, more precise in control. Moreover, several protection functions, such as overload protection, short circuit protection, creepage protection, are designed and imbedded in the system. In addition, the display module is designed to promote the security and practicality.The project adopt current and rotate speed dual closed loop control method based on the mathematics module of DC Series Motor. Fuzzy-PI regulator is adopted in rotate speed loop, while in current loop the PI regulator is used. The high speed signal process chip DSP also introduced in the system, in order to process the data of the control methods. So the good operation interface, full protections, high precision and fast response velocity regulation system can be present with using high ability chip . Experiment indicate, that the simple hardware circuit and facility in parameter setting can be got by using software in the control method.The intelligent power module is also used in the system because of its self protection . So the hardware resource and board room can be saved ,More over ,the stabilization of the system can be improved.In the aspect of speed sample, HALL speed sensor is adopt, and combined the M method and T method , So the sample precision can be ensured both in the high speed moment and low speed moment.In the brake, combined power consumption brake with mechanical brake for the thinking of security and reliability.Finally, simulation the system with using the MATLAB software, and correct the data in the experiment. As a result, It can be approve that the system is feasible in the locomotive velocity regulation rebuild.
