The Design And Implementation Of Scientific Research Management Information System

In the modern computer application fields, MIS is one kind of computer application system software that applies the most widespread in the world. In the informationized days, the scientific research institution needs to improve the working efficiency and realize office automation by using the computer system. Along with the computer popularization, especially the rapid development of the Internet, the MIS system with WWW service will better conform to the current application tidal and doubles the user's favour.Because of China fishery science research institution's widespread branches, this system uses mix pattern of C/S + B/S. We use B/S pattern between Beijing and the other branches, but interior the minute institution we uses the C/S pattern. From the above we know this system is a multi- databases system. Therefore the technology of data-transmission and synchronization is critical in the system. This article, based on the characteristics of Microsoft Net frame distribution application, will elaborate Net Remoting technology principle as well as some concrete difficulties in actual project application in details. On the other hand, it will use Web Service technology to realize data synchronization between minute institution and Beijing fishery science research institution by network. Considering the instability of network, we design one kind of fault-tolerant mechanism to preserve the data in the situation of network breakdown so that we can submit the date to Beijing fishery science research institution when the network restored. Besides, as it is a practical software, in order to help the users to experience better service, we provide customer with more functions, more convenience and more beautiful operating interface. For example, we realize many functions such as document upload and download, the generation, deriving and printing of reports, the user's self-definition data perspective drawings and the production of tables according to user's actual demand.At present this system has applied to test and many precious opinions has been proposed in the test process and I have issued several revised edition. I believe it will further enhance the system efficiency and provide more functions with more convenience.
