The electromagnetic blenders of the Wuhan First Steelworks appear the malfunction that the power line have connected to ground on one point or more many times every year, affecting the quantity of cast iron seriously, resulting in reducing the output and increasing the rate of waster, even cause the serious electric power trouble. It has resulted in the economic loss of millions of dollar directly and indirectly every year. This thesis designs the on-line electric power monitor and malfunction prediction of the electromagnetic blenders. The system adopts the Hall voltage, current, leaky current sensors and the do-it-yourself diveces to detect the low frequency signal of the electromagnetic blender, monitoring the electric power of the electromagnetic blender, even can predict the malfunction that the power line have connected to ground on one dot or more. with the assurance that the electromagnetic blender can works safely without any fault. The thesis give the total design of the system:the hardware department and the software department of the system. It gives the the details of the algorithm of grey prediction, and the simulation of how to use improved grey prediction to predict malfunction. It also introduces how to use Labwindows/CVI to develop the software of the system, including the display of real-time curve and storage of history data, and serial-port communication. The findings is very important to the Wuhan First Steelworks. Not only the thesis's achievement is suitable for Wuhan First Steelworks, but also it has the suitable promoted value in the domain if the domestic other large-scale steel enterprises to technological transformations of production line.
