With the extensive application of embedded system in the various fields and the increasing improvement of hardware of embedded system, a reliable and beautiful graphic system is more needed in the embedded system than before. Widget library is an important component of embedded graphics system, so research on a efficient and attractive widget library is of important realistic significance.To meet the needs of the development of a graphical user interface, widget library implement not only basic widgets but also a number of advanced widgets. It uses the idea of separating the show module from event module to improve the efficiency and facilitate the maintenance of widget library, Widgets on the show is combined of a number of view-cells. The show module implements various types of view-cells which have various show effects. The event module is responsible for handling various events of widget and it provides various events that can be registered to meet user's need.In order to meet the needs of users to customize the style of widgets, it also provides the ability to transform the style of widgets. By analysis of the configuration file, the appearance of widgets is setup as widgets are created, and so it realizes the customization of the style of four statuses of widgets.The input of Chinese characters is essential in the embedded graphic system. The input method and the event of the widgets are combined together organically. Aiming at the uniqueness of embedded keyboard equipment, it creates a map from digital to Pinyin based on usual Pinyin input method, and so it realizes the Pinyin input method suitable for embedded digital environment.
