In team research works, a platform to store, share and reuse technical knowledge effectively is needed. The technical knowledge includes developed systems, modules and algorithms, as well as related experimental data, and so on. Meanwhile, for the problem solution, a visualized display method of the problem solving process is needed too. In order to solve these problems, this paper has proposed the concept of Knowledge Processing Line, and has implemented the KPL Generating System. Use this system, knowledge workers can develop standard components, and generate the KPL graphically by coordinating the components. These KPL and components can be stored as research results to share and reuse in other projects. The main research work in this paper is as follows:(1) According to the assembly line of production process, this paper has proposed the concept of "Knowledge Processing Line - KPL". KPL is a line using many functional modules to process the knowledge resources and finally get knowledge products. The functional modules of KPL are called components, and they can be rearranged to adjust the need of the projects. This paper has analyzed the elements, relationship between the elements, and characteristics of the KPL. To better support the integration and sharing of problem solving process, this paper has also studied the modeling method theoretically and graphically.(2) This paper has implemented the Knowledge Processing Line Generating System to develop and manage the KPL and its components. Such system contains two main parts, one is Graphical Component Development Subsystem (GCDS), and the other is Graphical Knowledge Processing Line Building Subsystem (GKBS). GCDS is a universal system with all kinds of knowledge processing modules for knowledge workers to coordinate their knowledge, such as various types of data, algorithms and functional modules. These components are the nodes in graphical model of KPL. And GCDS has provided a standardized development environment of the components. GKBS is a graphical platform for users to build KPL by coordinating the components of GCDS. Then the KPL can run independently as a system to process various data.There are some research significances of this paper. Firstly, this paper supports a visualized and friendly running platform to generate and manage KPL. Secondly, this paper has implemented a stable components develop and manage system to develop functional modules efficiently. Thirdly, all of the components and KPL of the research projects can be stored for sharing and reusing in new projects. Using KPL, knowledge workers can process, estimate, and analyze knowledge easily. The focus of this paper is to store, share, coordinate, and integrate knowledge effectively, and also help knowledge innovation.
