Distance Learning System For The China Disabled Based On J2EE Technology

Human being's information idea has changed owing to information technology of network. After the middle of the 20th century, people's knowledge had a new development by the cognition of information from material to energy. People notice that, material, energy and information have already become three basic elements of human being social development. Scientific experiments indicate that human being's knowledge of the information nature, so far is only during preliminary stage, people have issued various definitions for information, and use different concepts of information in various areas and various levels, such like daily life, science and philosophy. The category has used the information concept on the inner, different arrangement of ideas.From today's point of view, the formation and development of information idea has already exceeded different religions, races, languages and the countries. And the teaching media is the vector of information in teaching activities, and is the matieral foundation on which teaching activity relies on existence, every revolution in education is caused by the transforming from teaching media in history. The network technology revolution as the principal character in education has already arrived, and network teaching has appeared. The network technology as the revolutionary IT, provided new opportunities for the educating reform, and will become important dynamic of education development. At present there are more than 40 countries being planning and preparing network education, and taking it as the strategic activities of putting education reform into practice. The network education will become a new method of education with the characters of faster and more spreading space in our country.Imbalance of society and economy in our country, the gap of educational level between different areas is very enormous, especially worse for people who have misfortunes bodies, as a result, we have known that it is urgent to develop a distance learning website for disabled people, as more and more disabled people have no longer degenerated himself (herself) because of his(her) congenital disabilities, they also have the rights to enjoy higher education resource like a normal person. For these reasons, I have designed the Chinese disablityies distance learning website based on J2EE technology, which will play a important role to these aspects by network education. Thesis comprises in six parts as follows:The Second chapter: This website design gives the systematic analysis and survey from five aspects: user's need, system function need, feasibility analysis, analyses and society feasibility analyses.The Third chapter: It indicates a brief introduction on the J2EE technology, JSP (JavaServer Pages) technology, SQL Server 2000 and Dreamweaver, respectively, and an explanation have been introduced for the configuration of JSP server.The Fourth chapter: It firstly brings six design principals that website design should follow: (1) The principle of the independent and appropriation of single module. (2) The depth and width principle of system structure. (3) The range of module's influence keeps within the module's control area. (4) system module single entrance, single exit principle. (5) modules result forecasting principle. (6) data compatibility principle. Secondly this website has two big functional modules: The browser consumer module and the server module. The consumer module includes website browsing, online registration, dynamic communication and school assignment online; the server includes administration login online, online examination question database management. And the administration login comprises two modules: students'approval management and question database management; Question database system comprises user management, subject management, problem type management and knowledge management; question database management comprises type A question database and type B question database. The consumers accomplish website browsing, dynamic registration, dynamic communication and the school assignments submitting; The server logging module accomplishes entire system logging on, and transfers login parameter to students'approval module, system management module as well as examination questions management module; The system management module accomplishes the entire systematic initialization and with management of inner user; Examination questions management module accomplishes the management of examination questions mainly. The Fifth chapters offered the detail design principles and the concrete functional database design. JDBC drives is adopted which adapted Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC among system, and packages the data base function in common with JavaBeans , in this way, it could conceal the complicated database operations, and could avoid the security problem, strengthening the systematic reusable nature and transplanting besides.The Sixth chapter: Firstly, testing the system mistake treatment, that is, whether system stops useless information enter into the system. Secondly, analyzing the system security, it has test the wrong operation that all possible involved, every mistake operation suppose to have a corresponding mistake treatment mechanism, in the process of system realization, defined the possible wrong treatment information as well as corresponding solving method.After testing, the system has accomplished common function of WEB-based distance learning, has accorded with the distance education's requirement. By the system testing, so far, system does not occurred unanticipated error, testing certificate system is reliable.To sum up, the thesis provides an explanation for website. Resources sharing have been achieved by six modules: dynamic teaching, dynamic communication, distance registration, school assignment submitting, online examination and entrance management. According to original intention and the reference design consulting other distance education websites, the function has been testified that the website is able to satisfy the need of distance learning for disabled people. The whole system utilized the JSP technology to achieve behavior logic; and used the JavaBean module to achieve the complicated business logic; and the MS SQL to achieve the data logic.
