TD-SCDMA(Time Division Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access), one of the air-interface technical specifications officially released by the ITU, will be used widely in the world with the advantages of narrow frequency band, good spectrum efficiency and agility frequency utilizing and supported entirely by CWTS(China Wireless Telecommunication Standard group) and the 3GPP(the 3rd Generation Partnership Project ).For TD-SCDMA system as the third generation mobile system, the design and implement of the uniform software platform are researched base on the characteristic of the distributed processing and the functions with TD-SCDMA system to accomplish. The hardware architecture of the uniform software platform is based on the ATCA (Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture) to complete the processing of data, signaling and service by dispersive programs which are united in the uniform software platform. The functions of shielding the detail of hardware and the difference of the package software and providing union services for application programs are also attended by the uniform software platform.Firstly, the TD-SCDMA system is introduced and the network element model, the hardware architecture and the software architecture of the uniform software platform are described by the analysis to system architecture. And base on the study of kernel Scheduling arithmetic, the RTOS (Real-Time OS) is researched which avoids the depending on the business RTOS by real-time realization of Linux. Then the memory management is discussed, the binning arithmetic and storage cache are completed which play an important role to resolve memory problems. The application schedule is designed which includes scheduling task, message driver, context switch and exception handing by introducing the Windows fiber and can control the whole programs. IP switch is studied which implements the operation maintenance path of NodeB base on the ATM transforms by CIPoA (Classic IP over ATM) and which is an advanced resolved scheme on the Iub interface technology criterion. Finally, the real-time patch is imported which affords the maximal guarantee for the system robustness by function multi-path to correct errors and add new functions in the field of inhibitive interrupting services of some key applications.
