Research On Retrieval Technology In Search Engine

With the rapid development of Internet, Search Engine has become anindispensable tool for people to get information. As the core technology of SearchEngine, retrieval technology plays an important role in getting information accuratelyandrapidly.Based on the study of traditional retrieval models, the paper brought forward aModel which took full consider of the importance that file structure to the words. Itavoidedtheshortcomingsoflowaccurateandentirequeryratewhenusingthemodeltocalculatethesimilarity.Basedonthestudyofretrieval model andcachetechnology,thepaperdesigned andimplementedan efficient retrieval system which includedqueryandcachemechanismforthetwoparts:thequeryhas simpleandcomplexretrievalmethods;the cache mechanism made two basic cache strategies based on LRU and LFU, and italso used the cache query algorithm of hash table to improve efficiency. Theexperimental results show that the retrieval and cache performance of the retrievalsystemhasreachedapracticallevel.
