Data acquisition and storage are very important parts of digital signal processing. Based on the mass literature materials, this paper designs a submersible buoy data acquisition and storage system based on MCU. The system consists of hardware and software.Hardware focuses on the development of a buoy control system based on msp430 microcontroller, serial port device network server, wireless bridge device and a submersible buoy digital processing system based on Vector hydrophone, AVR microcontroller, compact flash card, SRAM. Divided according to the functions, the hardware of the submersible buoy digital acquisition and storage system is mainly composed of three parts: signal acquisition, data storage, data transmission. Taking the three parts as the core, parts selection, circuit design and PCB production are completed.In the Software, MCU data acquisition procedure is compiled by adopting AVR assembly language and display console is developed under the environment of Visual C++. The paper introduces some key technologies and points for attention in detail during hardware debugging and software development process, which includes the AD conversion accuracy, the external SRAM address mapping, CF card storage format as well as real-time clock reading and writing time sequence. Display console applies Socket programming technology to complete reliable wireless communication network transmission and proposes a method of graphical dynamic display with no flicker combining with the multithread programming technology. The final chapter of the part thoroughly discusses reading and writing disk sectors technology under Windows environment and direct accessing with file mode for CF card is realized.Finally, this paper gives a brief description of the test processing about the coordination between display console and hardware equipment. Testing results show system is running very well and can be applied to the data acquisition and storage fields of underwater acoustic engineering.
