In the 21st century, computers play an important part in our life. With the development of network and mobile, the model of desktop wasn't adapt to the change, so new computing model was produced----pervasive computing, which includes many studies.It brings great chance to embedding products with numeralization and information, because of product's the mobility, real-time, interactive character, and it requires the higher requirement of information, and the context plays an important role in the interaction between people and computer, and it can improve the efficiency and exact rate. So it is important to study the application of context in the embedding system.The study of context in EHOME is the key point of the paper. At the beginning, it introduces pervasive computing's research environment, development, and challenge. At the same time, the definition, classify, expression and model of context are described. We point out the mode based on ontology is one of highest model methods which is formalized. And the ontology is suited to the reasoning of context. In the chapter 3, it completes the realization of hardware and software which are included in EHOME. We study the model based on the context-awareness, the context information is expressed by formalization, the ontology is applied in EHOME, and we implement it. At last, in order to improve the efficiency of EHOME system, it puts forward the context priority scheduling algorithm-based association. And it analyses and compares the performance in theory.The studies mentioned above show that the thinking of context is an ideal method to EHOME, the context can solve some problem which the system faces, for example, long waiting time and limited resources. it shows the intelligent, good interaction. In the other hand, it represent the thinking of pervasive computing, the research also had some practical value. So it is valuable and worth of further research.
