Research And Implementation On Automated Testing Technology Of Cluster System

An automated testing system SATT(Symphony Automated Testing Tool)is designed and developed in this paper in order to meet the demand of automated testing for cluster system Symphony developed by Canada Platform Computing company.The fundamental theory about software testing and software automation testing is firstly presented in this paper, then the architecture, operating principle and testing characteristic of Symphony is discussed, the key technology problems of automation testing and the solution of these problems are discussed. And then the design and implementation of automated testing system SATT is discussed in this paper. Finally, the application of automated testing system SATT is introduced with Symphony smoke testing as example. The evaluation of the practice of automated testing system SATT in enterprise shows that SATT has facilitated of the test automation development, reduced the testing cost, lightened testing workload, and improved the testing efficiency and quality.
