The research topic involved in this thesis comes from the VOD vacuum oxygendecarbonization project of certain steel mill. The key technology of OPC interfacetechnique and self-learning arithmetic is mainly discussed, and some key technicalproblems are resolved.In the first part of the thesis, the characteristics of the VOD smelt techniques areintroduced with emphasis on the requirements of the key techniques and a comparisonis made of different solutions. Then the designing scheme of VOD production operationsystem is proposed.The thesis attaches great emphasis on the development of OPC client and theapplication of self-learning arithmetic in the VOD technology mode, including thedifficulties in the development of OPC client and the simulation of ExponentialSmoothing arithmetic.In the introduction of the development of OPC client, the actual development ismainly introduced, and some key codes are offered. The simulation of ExponentialSmoothing arithmetic with MTALAB 7.0 is based on the real production data.The thesis puts forward a new self-learning arithmetic integrated by NeuralNetwork and VOD smelt techniques. Its theoretical foundation is introduced in detail.This arithmetic is simulated using real production data. The result that the newself-learning arithmetic is highly precise and effective can meet the expected controlrequirement.
