Abstract/Summary:
As the development of the network and computer technology, more and more nodes will be connected to the bone network. The IETF designs a new IP protocol, called IPv6, in order to instead of the IPv4 protocol.During the evolution of the IPv6 network, IPv4/IPv6 mixed network will exist for a long time, so it makes sense to do some research on data transmission in mixed network.The software in the mixed network has its own characteristic. The server must accept the IPv4 client and the IPv6 client connection, simultaneously and homologously; the client should be self-adaptive to the network topologic and environment. Because of the difference of the network address structure and communication API between IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, there is some trouble in developing the network service. This dissertation intends to find a solution about the mixed network data transmission and designs a middleware to shield the diversity of the IPv4/IPv6 protocol.IPv6 and SIP are two vital protocols in next generation network. SIP can work well based on IPv4 or IPv6 network. The 3GPP work group adopts the SIP, which will be used to the session control about the IMS. And the IPv6 also will be adopted to work as the basic network protocol of the IMS. So combining the SIP and IPv6, we can get a good solution for future network application. Obviously, IPv6 protocol can provide security for the SIP server system.The dissertation mainly focuses on the data transmission based on the IPv4/IPv6 mixed network, and completes some tasks as follows: Firstly, a solution about the data transmission based on the IPv4/IPv6 mixed network has been put forward. Secondly, a middleware has been designed and realized, which can shield the diversity of the IPv4/IPv6 network. Thirdly, a small SIP system has been designed and completed. Fourthly, a high performance Linux network server system has been designed. At last, the SIP text syntax has been encapsulated in XML format.
