With the develop of electronic technology, IC plays an important role in the varies fields of electronic circuit. With advances in semiconductor technology, power amplifier circuit has been the rapid development and application. Audio power amplifier is an important part of consumer electronic products, China—Our country is the most important market of consumer products and the biggest world manufacture center of consumer products, the need of audio power amplifier is more and more ,So it is a very important practical significance to launch a research on audio power amplifier.The designed circuit of paper is an integrated class-B dual output amplifier with MUTE/STANDBY switch, the power is 2*6W.Based on the principle and performance of audio power amplifier and the TDA1517,The paper design about eleven circuit parts, including differential input stage middle amplifier, negative feed-back, over-current and over-voltage protection, class B push-pull output stage etc. The whole circuit of the audio power amplifier is simulated in Cadence, the simulation results show that the system works very well and get high stability.The layout of system is designed by using tools of Virtuoso Layout Editor in cadence in CSMC 1.6um bipolar model process, based on principle of devices matched, the principle of the layout of wiring to complete the circuit chip layout drawing, and passed the design rule checking (DRC), electrical rule checking (ERC) and the circuit diagram and layout consistency check (LVS), verify the layout drawn correctness.
