Abstract/Summary:
The final shape of deposit is an important parameter of spray forming process, which relates on processing, utilization of materials and many other aspects. Therefore, there is a great significance for accurate controlling of deposit during the production. This paper studies the devices and intelligent control of cylindrical deposits spray forming. It controls the deposit dimension real-time by controlling the move-speed of deposition equipment during spray forming process, eventually obtains a columnar near-net shape deposit.In accordance with the forming characteristics of the preparation cylindrical spray deposits, mechanical structure for the cylindrical spray deposition forming is designed. Firstly, the transmission support and load conditions of the main components are calculated, and the ball screw and linear guide are purchased. Secondly, various parts of mechanical structure and dimension for the cylindrical spray deposition forming device are designed by the machine-aided design software SOLIDWORKS, so that the deposition device achieves three freedom movements, including the level, vertical and rotation of the movements. Finally, a suite of cylindrical spray deposition forming device is produced.Electromechanical transmissions system of cylindrical deposition device based on PLC is built. The motor-driven of drive system is selected by load calculation and analysis of requirements of various parameters. It needs two step motors and one deceleration motor to drive on the level, vertical and rotation movement respectively. Siemens S7-200 PLC is selected as the device controller and drive program of move device is compiled. In order to realize the closed-loop feedback control during the preparation process of cylindrical spray deposits, first, the communication between PLC and PC is realized by RCV order, so that it receives data from PC; and then, high-speed pulses to stepper motor are output by PLS order, so that it drives the stepper motor. PC sends control data to PLC by the MSComm control of VC++.According to the control process of cylindrical spray forming device, the fuzzy controller and the self-learning neuron PSD controller separately are designed. The simulations of deposit with the set value of 190mm, 200mm, 210mm are completed, and the results are verified by experiments. Comparing the results of the two controllers, it is confirmed that the PSD self-learning neuron controller is more suitable for the control of cylindrical spray deposits dimension.
