The incidence of traffic accidents are increasing year by year with the growing popularity of motor vehicles now,it urgently requires the development of automobile anti-collision technology.Millimeter-wave automotive collision avoidance radar system is currently the important point about security technology,can effectively avoid the occurrence of the accident.The DSP chip is used as the core data processing of the automobile anti-collision millimeter-wave radar system.The system can automatically detect the relative distance and relative velocity between your car and the frontal car,and then judge risk by calculating its safe distance to remind driver to make the corresponding action in order to avoid vehicle collisions timely.The anti-collision radar system is used at highways and cars.This article discusses the working principle of anti-collision radar,radar parameter designation, algorithm design of data processing,Radar waveform design and data processing system's software and hardware design.The vehicle collision avoidance system takes LFMCW millimeter-wave radar as signal generator,and TMS320VC5410 DSP chip as signal processing part,to ensure the system is simple and cost reduction.False alarm is a serious problem during the process of collision avoidance radar, this article tries to eliminate false targets from improvements on the radar waveform and signal processing,for reducing the false alarm rate.Through improvement,It reduces the false alarm rate effectively.
