With the development of Computer technology,especially the multimedia technology and the intemet,Web-based cooperative Leaming has been greatly promoted.Comparing with the traditional cooperative leaning,Web-based cooperative learning is more suitable for interaction and with better flexibility,which makes it easier for the learners to develop creativity,critical sense,explorative spirit,and the ability to cooperate with others.The introduction of social software has sharply changed the face of traditional education manners.Wiki,introduced as a cooperation tool,provides powerful technical support to cooperative learning with its characteristic of collaboration,sharing,efficiency information communication,cooperation,and interactive instruction.It provides powerful teaching environment support for negotiation and communication in the process of constructing new knowledge.It also provides a platform for designing and implementing cooperative learning. Thanks to these characteristics,we construct a novel social cooperative learning pattern,in which learners and experts of different places and research areas can join in the cooperative knowledge construction.The clear study subject attracts more and more learners who are interested in this topic,so a stable leaning group is set up.Learning resource,learning group and character of the group members are dynamic and flexible.The learners can join other learning group that they are more interested in,or set up new groups to learn a new topic.Learners can join the group discussion at anytime and anywhere.Their partners may be anyone that are interested in the current subject,problem or task,it doesn't matter whether they are from the learning group or not. In addition,the management of cooperative learning has been extended.With the help of the management tool Wiki provides,teachers can monitor and guide learners more conveniently and effectively.Based on the social constructivism and Ccognitive theory,the investigation of the traditional network cooperative learning concept and characteristics,and the wild technique and it application state in education area,this thesis summaries the wiki's significance in network cooperative learning and develops the wiki based socially cooperative learning pattern.Further more,it discusses the patter's characteristics,the constituent part and their relationship.Combining with the activity of the traditional networks study,this pattern designs three novel study activities, namely subject based construction,problem based construction and tasks based cooperation. Guided by the patter,the functional models of wiki based socially cooperative learning platform are designed and implemented.After comparative study of wiki's developing state in and abroad, we selects the HDWiki as the platform engine.The "Modem Distance Education" curriculum is selected as the content of the platform.On this platform,three study activities stated above are studied for more than tow months.The study result demonstrates the socially cooperative learning pattern constructed in this thesis is reasonable and the subject based construction,problem based construction and task based cooperation is feasible.Wiki shows its strengthens of cooperative creativity and openness in the cooperative learning.The subject based construction,problem based discussion and task based cooperation promotes the learners' initiatives,openness and cooperation in cognitive process. Though the item creation task after the class breaks their original study manner,this new approach improves the knowledge's breadth and depth.Practical teaching illustrates that wiki is very useful in socially cooperative learning and can be used to develop socially cooperative learning.A blemish in an otherwise perfect thing,wiki is only used as a supplementary tool for classroom teaching or partly used in study activities.In addition,wild need further development to make it for powerful to support the socially cooperative learning.This study begins with providing study resource,setting up platform and designing study activities,and then finishes the instructional designing based on the platform.Hoped to be helpful to promote the application of wiki in education...
