The networked automatic generation control system is systematically analyzed and studied in this paper.In order to compensate forward channel time delay,feedback channel time delay and data drop,two schemes are proposed.One is predictive control scheme based on round trip time delay,the other is predictive control scheme based on the output of system. Both of the two schemes use a buffer,a predictive control generator and a network delay compensator to compensate random delay and data drop induced by communication network. A two-area reheat thermal system and a three-area hydro-thermal system are studied,the simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed schemes. |
