| Data is the core content of geographic information system,which is divided into spatial data and attribute data.In the old application system,attribute data is stored in relational databases and spatial data is stored in documents.The application systems are created through building the relationship between the attribute data of spatial data files and relational databases.With the development of distributed systems,the file management mode of GIS spatial data has come up with a lot of difficult problems in various aspects such as the effectiveness and consistency of data.The use of relational database to manage spatial data and attribute data solve this issue effectively.In this paper,the use of relational database management of spatial data and attribute data;the use of ArcSDE middleware to connect to the database;use the ADF to provide the interface to access the data.System robustness and the speed of the system is the core issue.In the system development process,the use of a database connection pool technology is to improve system speed.The use of asynchronous callback technology is to alleviate Server's pressure.In order to make spatial data and attribute data to maintain the effectiveness and consistency,how to make spatial data and attribute data combined effectively is explained in detail.This paper will take the Xiamen typhoon warning system as an example and deeply analyses the significance,realizing possibility and the study status about management and storage of spatial data firstly,and then makes a clear presentation about the research content,system desiging and the essential technique to be solved. A new generation of ArcGIS data model which is GeoDatabase will be introduced in details.By analyzing the mechanism of ArcSDE,the article will tell the details about how ArcSDE can access and manage the spatial data.A development technology based on such solution is also provided in the paper.Then,it gives the conclution about the current research achievement and the aspects needing further improvement, and also expects the next research work finally. |
