Ocean ships are important tools on which modern ocean shipping industry relies for survival and development.On the basis of the practical needs of marine transportation,this paper analyzes the developing situation of the remote management of ocean-going vessels and the remote display and control of GPS sailing device in shipping industry home and abroad.And based on the actual demand of the vessel-using project of FURUNO SOFTECH(DALIAN) CO.,LTD in marine radio navigation and scientific management,this paper analyzes the deficiencies of the current GPS navigation device system,designs and achieves a new GPS sailing device system in which NMEA0183 machines and NMEA2000 machines can be compatible with each other,and thus improves the operational efficiency and economic benefit of ships.Taking full advantage of modern computer technology,modern knowledge of sailing and maritime satellite communication technology,a new GPS sailing device software system is designed.In this system,the related data information,such as the navigation conditions and the location,is sent to NMEA machine regularly through GPS navigator and is displayed on the interface.The software system consists of two parts - menu and interface.The menu provides guidance for users' operation,with which users can set the parameters they need to check.It is an important part of man-machine interaction interface in the software system.The interface is mainly used to display sailing information,with which users can check and manage the information and master the sailing state conveniently to make accurate judgment for the operating staff on board and ensure the security of ship navigation.Adopting.NET technology and modularization ideology,detailed design is carried out for the whole system.All the related parameters are divided into seven modes,and each mode is processed as a separate model,then the seven modes are unified management by one model to make sure the entire system is designed simply and orderly,and improves the flexibility and expansibility of the system.The method and procedures of the system test are given at the end of this paper. The entire system is tested strictly from analog test to real machine test.The result of the system test shows that the GPS sailing device system meets the design requirements. The system has been delivered to the customer,and will be produced soon and put into actual use.
