Design And Implementation Of Personnel Management System Of Vocational Colleges Based On The Workflow Engine Jbpm

As the continuous development of higher education, it is an inevitable trend to the mergence of colleges, which then lead to the expansion of college personnel system. There is one higher vocational colleges which use personnel management system based on C/S mode previously, the single function system could not fulfill the variable request after the combination of colleges. A set of high performance, efficiency, reliability and easily maintenance personnel management system needs to be developed by college to satisfy the requirement. Workflow and distributed technologies are the present mainstream technologies to realize automation business process management Therefore, we devise to introduce workflow engine (Jboss Jbpm) and distributed technology into this higher vocational college's personnel management developing.In this paper, we analysis the disadvantage of a certain higher vocational college's personnel management system, make a brief introduction to the development of modern personnel management system and common character of typical software at home and abroad. We make detailed description of basic concept of workflow technology and its advantage in respects such as business process, modeling and flow analysis. Then the paper emphatically explains the principle of workflow engine Jbpm, process definition language, process entity, database mapping, business process designer. From the analysis of demand to vocational college personnel system, the paper devise the general frame to vocational college's personnel system, the system applied current popular MVC system, Struts frame and J2EE technology. To realize the design to realize personnel management system of higher vocational colleges based on the workflow engine of Jbpm, the paper uses subject process of recruitment module, deploy XML document to MySQL database, adopt Hibernate to realize persistence of class and apply the frame of Struts with engine of API to finish the design.The devised personnel management in this paper conquers the traditional disadvantage of previous personnel management system. The application of MVC frame improved the function of system, J2EE technology elevate the portability and security of the system. The application of Jbpm work engine optimize the design of the flow, realize the automation of flow management and improve the flexibility of business process in the system.
