Publish/Subscribe(P/S) which is a communication model based on event provides a convient approach for asynchronous communication between application on a distributed network. As the Ad Hoc network technology continues to develop,it is a trend that applys P/S system to Ad Hoc network.Routing protocol has an important effect on the efficiency, reliability and scalability of a P/S system.Firstly, several common routing algorithms,self-configuration strategy and the relating algorithm are analyzed and discussed.Based on their design ideas,a new topology self-configuration algorithm is presented by introduced subscription suspend/active operation in P/S system, and the new mechanism of buffering relating to subscription. The new algorithm implements self-configuration when event broker network changed,it provides the consistence between subscription and event broker network, and it also has a good stability.Secondly, the routing protocol of publish/subscribe system based on mobile Ad Hoc network is deeply studied. We analyzed and discussed the feature and mechanism of main content routing protocols on Ad Hoc network. In view of poor expansibility and stability of the routing protocols based on mobile Ad Hoc network in publish/subscribe system,we design a new Ad Hoc oriented content routing protocol by using network clustering technique, topology self-reconfiguration algorithm and client routing switch algorithm. The new protocol controls message broadcast and enhances the expansibility of P/S system. We develops a publish/subscribe prototype system based on the new routing protocol, testing and verifying the new protocol. The research result of thesis is valuable for spreading the application of publish/subscribe system.
