With the development of knowledge economy age, because the breadth and depth of library management continue to extend, library need to introduce a new mode management which is fit for the library. With the prosperous of knowledge supply chain (KSC) in the enterprises, knowledge supply chain has become a new field which need library to research. Knowledge supply chain regards meeting the customer's need as the goal. It includes knowledge access, knowledge share, knowledge innovation, knowledge transfer and knowledge application. Knowledge supply chain provides library with a new management perspective, contributes to the library construction, optimizes library knowledge management, integrates library resources and enhances library core competitiveness.At present, the theory and application of knowledge supply chain is very little in the domestic and foreign and its theoretical system is also not perfect. The most research concentrated in manufacturing enterprises and supply chain enterprises, however the paper about knowledge supply chain in library has no exist yet.Research on construction mode of knowledge supply chain in library will has significant meaning in theory and practice.Based on the above, the paper has mainly four parts, including theory research, construction mode, operation mechanism and demonstration research.First, theoretical research of knowledge supply chain of library. Based on the research on knowledge supply chain in domestic and foreign experts and scholars, the paper proposes the content of knowledge supply chain, analyzes the characteristics of supply chain knowledge and points out practice basis which library introduce knowledge supply chain.Second, construction mode research on knowledge supply chain of library. This part is the main theoretical framework of the research and the core content of paper. By analyzing construction mode of knowledge supply chain of library, the paper establishes principles, content and system and function model of knowledge supply chain of the library.Third, the research on operation mechanism of knowledge supply chain of the library. Based on the former analysis of construction mode of knowledge supply chain, the paper proposes operational mechanism of knowledge supply chain of the library and establishes evaluation index system of knowledge supply chain of the library.Fourth, the practice of knowledge supply chain of National Library Board (NLB) in Singapore. Through analyzing the key parts in the course of constructing knowledge supply chain practice of National Library Board in Singapore, the paper demonstrates the feasibility and reasonable in the theory and application of knowledge supply chain of the library.Research shows that construction mode of knowledge supply chain of the library provides an effective way and the scientific method for the library management, and points to the direction of library construction.
