At present, there are a lot of various type of data for decision making and reference which related to the port production, and the data increase rapidly. Before the data is scattered and can only reflect the isolate situation, the corporate leader and the corresponding manager need to do some analysis of these information, then they have a general understanding of the running of the entire container terminals. When the reference data increase, the difficulties increase as well. The interactive port integration index system can solve this problem. Depend on this system, we can understand the whole running and business of port, and it can help us to make the decision. So it increases the productivity and management efficiency, and strengthens the company's competitive advantage.The paper mainly explains the principle and implementation mechanism of Interactive Integration Index System of Terminals, based on the project of Shanghai Pudong International Container Terminals. The system selects indicators that can judge conditions of the container terminals properly, based on the dynamic business of the terminals. And then it sets up integration indicators system of terminals for defining indicators, analyzing indicators, measuring indicators, based on which, principal components analysis method and analytic hierarchy process method are brought in and the indicators are compiled by weight evaluated from the experts. After that, by extracting, transforming, cleaning, the system integrates the data from all kinds of business systems, and saves the source data to the data warehouse.The system includes two parts: client and server. The function of client is to view integration index of terminals, factors system and use traffic light style to monitor all factors. The server program is a series of threads running background, and to take charge to monitor and maintain the jobs, connection between the source database and target database, ETL process, the analysis of data in the data warehouse. To sum up, the paper discusses the server-side implementation principle and process, explains the program code and relative data dictionary, and it also discusses the analysis of historical data and gives some advices. The primary work and results of the system are presented as follows.(1) Setting up indicator system of container terminals, principles to select indicators are provided, hierarchy frame chart of indicator system is drawn based on analytic hierarchy method and systematic analysis theory, and analyzed the definition of indicators. It presents a basis on setting up the composite index.(2) Confirm key indicators and weight of indicators by bringing in principal components analysis method and analytic hierarchy process method, and set up composite index to reflect the dynamic business of container terminals.(3) Data warehouse technique, which is introduced to extract data from different business system into the data warehouse, provide sufficient data to comprehensive index system of container terminal. And based on Data warehouse, according to themes which brought up by comprehensive index system of container terminal, we can build all kinds of analysis models, mainly including model for throughput analysis and crane power consumption analysis. In addition, data extraction is not simply pile up all the data, but a process to clean up and classify the data. Through the whole course, the concept of data integrity is used to combine all the independent information islands as one, and most work mainly depends on ETL scripts which are programmed by me.
