Since the first demonstrations of fiber optic sensors in the late 1980s,the research of optic sensors and system,especially interference fiber sensing system,has become more and more significant.Due to its high sensitivity,ultra-broadband response and large dynamic operation range,research on fiber sensor becomes a new discipline. High speed data acquisition and processing system of fiber sensing system is very important for improving the detecting precision and response speed.The application of fiber sensing system is limited by the speed of data acquisition and process.Therefore, this thesis is concentrated on the study of high-speed data acquisition of fiber interference sensing system with DSP.The main works in this dissertation are listed as follows:(1) The structure and working principle of the system based on Mach-Zenhder optical fiber interferometer is briefly introduced and then PGC detection technique of interference fiber optic sensors is discussed in details.The validity of the proposed scheme is demonstrated by numerical results with MATLAB software.(2) The DSP chip TMS320C6416 based on development board is investigated in this paper.We focus on the structure of CPU and EDMA,analyzing the controller and local memory design,hardware source of the development board. The hardware platform system can complete the data acquisition effectively.(3) The realization electric circuit is designed.The pre-process interface circuit between peripheral circuit and CPU is simulated by protel version 99.(4) DSP's application is finished on Code Composer Studio IDE.We have designed and optimized programs including the target system initialization,sample control of TMS320C6416 to the AIC23,communication between DSP and ADC.(5) System integration of the software and hardware are debugged.The sampled result and input signals agree with each other.The anticipated result,which demonstrates the identification of the system in practical use and the designing requirements,is satisfied.
