ABAQUS is one of the most advanced nonlinear finite element analysis software in the whole world. It focus on calculating with wide functionality and performance of the simulation. It can be widely used in the field of nuclear industry, material science, railway, petrochemical, aerospace, electronic and general industrial and scientific research.ABAQUS/CAE is set for finite element analysis of pre-processing and post-poccessing as well as the human-computer interaction platform for modeling, analysis and post-processing. Therefore ABAQUS is used in a wide range of engineering applications.ABAQUS uses the parameter technology based on finite element method. During the design porcess,the designer could give a certain meaning of engineering or mechanical processing for some special variable in the program. When the user changes the variable of the program,the software can complete the model-driven by the parameter technology. So this approach could improve the work efficiency obviously.Although ABAQUS provides widely function for users, learning to use of the software requires the porfessional knowledge. It will spent lots of time to learn to use the software. One hand,the researcher need the strong function. The other hand,people expect the software could be user-friendly and simple operation.If we can combine the widely function of ABAQUS with the GUI(Graphical User Interface) features, we can still use the full strong ABAQUS calculation funcions, then it is avoided to remember lots of cumbersome command. Through the simple operation of mouse and keyboard, users just need to input some special parameters so that they could complete complex calculations.Based on the foundation of the ABAQUS GUI customized development, This thesis will complete the instances of the two-dimensional and three-dimensional microstructure of polycrystalline materials simulations. On the foundation of the customized development GUI platform, user can achieve mass gain finite element model, each grain's orientation, boundary conditions and loading conditions of the whole analysis circle. This methods and customized development have broad application prospects in the field of engineering design.
