At present,the gas explosion is in the coal mine safety production one of most serious disasters. Because the methane (CH4) is the gas principal constituent, therefore the current coal mine uses to the methane gas strength examination to take the gas content the norm for reference. Based on the coal mine safety work's request, carries on the accurate prompt monitor to the damp content is continuously must, simultaneously is also one of coal mine safety production important safeguard measures. The examination methane gas strength's methods are many,like safelight law, heat conduction law, infrared spectrum absorption law,light interference method, ultrasonic wave law,gas semiconductor law as well as catalyzed combustion method and so on.Using the methane catalysis part examination gas density's methane warning miner's lamp, in the portable gas examination warning meter as well as the safe supervisory system's methane sensor occupied the coal mine gas instrumentation's dominant position, is the coal mine dynamic surveillance damp density effective tool, produced the very important function to the coal mine safety.Methane catalysis part examination gas density principle: Passes to the methane catalysis part by the constant operating current, heats up it to approximately 500℃about, the use sensitive unit causes the gas to the gas catalytic effect to have the flameless combustion on the part surface, emits the quantity of heat to cause the part temperature rise, increased the sensitive unit platinum wire resistance value, then through metering circuit survey sensitive unit resistance value change quantity, thus obtains the corresponding gas content.
