Various X-ray Diagnostic Systems have been widely used in clinical medicine field. DRFDS (Digital Radiographic Fluoroscopy Diagnostic System) has various advantages including fast and high quality imaging, small dose, stable performance, powerful image processing and easy management of storage. DRFDS has been used by more and more hospital radiology departments, as an alternative to the traditional Radiographic Fluoroscopy Diagnostic System.This paper first introduced the DRFDS imaging system, and then designed and implemented the main image processing software modules for the characteristics of the image which included image real-time processing, image post-processing and analysis of vascular stenosis. It also briefly introduced the code optimization with SSE/SSE2. In the last part, we summarized the whole work and pointed out the improvement need to be done in future.All the algorithms in this paper have been realized with C++ programming language under Windows XP platform Visual Studio2005 environment. Several tests have proven that the software modules designed in this paper with reasonable algorithms are stable and have a good effect.
