With the rapid development of electronic products,Embedded systems are everywhere in this society in. Embedded operating system as a soul,Must be based on the products need to install the appropriate operating system, In order to better prepare the application.This article aims to Linux operating system will be transplanted to QQ2440 development board. In order to be able to transfer the operating system to development board to allow a better develop the application procedures,This article make the Linux2.6 version core into QQ2440 development board,so that the development board can be used for industrial process control.The characteristics of embedded systems,ARM architecture,Embedded Linux operating system were introduced in this paper. And focuses on the Linux operating system transplant, Describe the bootloader, the kernel and yaffs file system transplant and embedded Linux the driver of the concept and structure as well as the development process, develop the driver of UART2 serial and LCD display finally.The article described the transplant process of the Embedded Linux operating system. The realization method of the bootloader,kernel and the transplantation of file system was carried out based on QQ2440 development board. The article also gave the algorithm to solve the real-time problem of the Linux kernel and developed the driver program.
