With the speedy development of computer network technology and the distributed applications,moving the application from the client/server model to the client/middle layer/server model has become a pressing need of the customs,and this is also a main trend for the computer technology nowadays.Message-oriented middleware(MOM) is a middleware-based message transporting system.It can highly efficient and reliable finish data communications with platform-independent.Java Message Service(JMS) from Sun Microsystems is the Java-based middleware standard based on MOM.It can effectively shield the difference of network protocols,specific technology of the applications,operating system and database details.As more and more companies become concerning about the system's flexibility and scalability,message-oriented middleware is popular in the banking,telecommunications,financial services and other key areas of large-scale integration platform-different systems to ensure the integrity of the transaction.The method of design and implementation of MOM according with JMS criterions is mainly studied in this paper based on the study of MOM technology and JMS criterions.First,the recent progress of JMS research is introduced.Then some key technologies working with JMS in J2EE is shown.Next,on the basis of the above-mentioned theory,the overall structure of the system design is given with the combination of JMS specification.The emphasis of the article is to show a design of MOM based on JMS specification,which achieves the JMS main standard API, provides persistence function and JNDI service,etc.On the servicer side,listener, multi-session management and log affair are implemented,which can improve the QoS.Also,considering the efficiency of traditional JMS system sending many long messages is usually of poor effient,a kind of message compression is designed, which is a benefit attempt to improve the message transportation.Finally,the JMS system developed in this paper is applied to a database synchronous system,which...
