Research Of Auto-Answered Mobile Learning System

With the gradual and further research of distance education technology, students can link to Internet to study, but it can not meet the people's demand of new learning model in modern society. In recent years, with the increasingly common of the mobile terminals and the networks, mobile learning is one of the hot spot of e-learning research and application, the combination of the network education and the wireless network technology will make network education mount to a new stage. The risen of the mobile learning makes the activities between educators and educated from synchronization to asynchronous.This paper presents a scheme of an auto-answered mobile learning system based on SMS, the design and implementations of the auto-answered mobile learning system based multi-media technology and SMS technology are described, the system provides the service for the students to learn independently under the mobile learning model, synchronously enhance the interaction between teachers and students effectively, and distant learners acquire more perfect learning environment and support service, and provide favorable conditions for much more modern mobile learning system. The system has been successfully used on distance education in Network Education College, Shanghai JiaoTong University, and obtains good results.This thesis mainly describes the innovative work in the following areas:First, on the basis of analyzing the application mode of mobile learning, presents a scheme of an auto-answered mobile learning system based on SMS, including the facture and play of teaching resource based on multimedia technology, the asking and learning feedback based on mobile communication, and the auto-answered based on knowledge retrieval technology.Second, based on the Symbian S60 Platform, we study the technology of the facture and play of mobile learning resource, we broadcast the traditional classroom, which includes video, audio, lecture notes and handwritings to mobile phones by courseware form. Third, we implemented an auto-answered scheme under mobile learning environment, including the link of the set up of the knowledge database, the asking manner, the question searching and matching, the feedback of the results. Through the application case, it proves that this auto-answered model has good effect, and meets the demands of auto-answered mobile learning mode, expected aim can be reached. Finally, we use vote feedback and practice to solve the interaction between teachers and students and control the quantity of teaching. Students can vote for the speed of teaching, definition of voice and definition of writing. After finish the learning, students can choose if to do the practices and this will ensure the teaching quantity in mobile learning process.
