| Virtual Local Area Network is a new technology, which forms Virtual Teamwork by logically dividing the equipments of Local Area Network into several individual net segments. IEEE issued 802.1Q Agreement Standard Draft which is used to standardize the implement scheme of VLAN. Integrated Access Device is a customer premises access device. By the appearance of integrated access equipment, it is possible to unite voice, video, data and other integrated tasks on the Next Generation Network. The application of VLAN technology on Integrated Access Device is becoming a new hotspot, which can divide and improve the multi-service providing efficiently.After analyzing the implementation mechanism of IEEE 802.1Q agreement used in Linux operating system and tracking the source code, the work process of receiving data package and sending data package by the system was set forth. After thoroughly studying the application demand of dividing service when VLAN technology is used in integrated access equipment, and analyzing the characteristic, adaptability and disadvantage of every way of division, finally, a new way of VLAN configuration mechanism is put forward, which can be called VLAN based on service, and implemented in the Integrated Access Device. The demand of dividing service is achieved completely, and the utilization rate of network band is improved.By starting with the demand analysis, at first an integrated framework was formed, then the configuration mechanism of VLAN based on service on the embedded Integrated Access Device was implemented according to the measure of modularize. The latter capability test proves that: compared to traditional VLAN, the new way of configuration mechanism of VLAN not only reduces the data passing route from LAN and improves the capability of network system to resist broadcasting storm, but also realizes more flexible allocation and efficient exploitation, then lightens the burden of network manager. |
