Research And Implementation For Handheld Device Based On Embedded System With Machine Translation

With the continuous improvement of the embedded hardware function, all kinds of complicated applications have realized in embedded system. Operating system used in embedded system is developing frequently. From the original smart operating system, such as UC/OS to the Linux system which can operate in embedded platform only by configuring properly and cutting out now.The subject of Machine Translation has existed for a long time, but machine translation based on phrase statistics is not widly used in embedded device yet. This thesis is based on the embedded Linux electronic device, which has done some deep research, designed and developed some hardware and software, and realized machine translation based on phrase statistics.This thesis consists of four parts just as follows:It analyzes the current situation of application and study on embedded handle device, and reanalyzes systematically according to the function;It designs hardware circuit for some modules,and analyzes and studies the characteristics of embedded Linux and the construction process of the platform;It analyzes the features of MiniGUI, studied its porting method, shows its concrete porting process;It studies the main function of the handle device - machine translation system. After testing and analyzing, the main difficult problem which can happen in the realization on embedded platform has been given solutions, then explaines the realization of each module and designation decoder in detail.By improving the designation of machine translating decoder and humanly disposition of GUI in embedded equipment, the machine translation on phrase statistics has a good use in embedded equipment, and has a higher practical value.
