Traffic signs and markings as a carrier to provide the induction,management information for the driver,are in a class of graphics,symbols,lines,text to pass legal information for drivers and pedestrians and use to control,warn and guide the traffic safety facilities. The current study of traffic signs and markings focused on color,size of the signs and materials of markings,construction methods,but the effect of markings and signs,especially the study of the visual effect of the slowdown markings is relatively more less.This thesis introduces the classification,design principles and visual effects of road traffic markings (especially slowdown markings),as well as analysis of the drivers' visual and behavior characteristics of impact the slowdown markings identified.Using Boujou camera tracking software and high-level three-dimensional modeling software Maya to add slowdown markings on the real road scene and has been got the experimental platform of traffic markings.Marking four slowdown markings, then driving this video by driving simulator to test the drivers,the driver filled in the subjective assessment questionnaire in order to check the slowdown effect by using different type of slowdown markings as well as the fesaibility of experimental platform.Test results show that add a virtual slowdown markings deceleration of real good,developed by the video test platform to evaluate the different slowdown markings deceleration of the speed control can be used the view of road traffic security psychology,ergonomics and road traffic safety engineering to research the influence of road traffic markings to traffic safety, provid a new way to study the visual effect of traffic signs and markings. |
