The pattern of water system is formed by the stress in the Earth, and it shows some Characteristics of geology and geography. It can reflect the Characteristics of geological structure and crustal movement that may result information of water system. According to the different forms of water-plane, we can divide into dendritic river water system, braided river system, parallel-water system, radial water system, ring water system, lattice-like water system, and so.This thesis makes use of computer technology, forth fractal mathematics, mathematical morphology, the least squares method, and pattern recognition technology to automatically classify water system of classification methods. Fractal dimension of the water system, classification factor (scale-free interval) to identify, classify, such as standard-setting discussions in detail, and the realization of a fractal river system to deal with the prototype system development and initial test.
