Research And Implement Of Liver Segmentation Technique Based On MRI

Image segmentation is a process of separating an image into several disjoint regions, Research on fuzzy edges viscera segmentation is not enough, so there are important practicality value in automatically and segmenting the interested region in the MRI liver images.After a survey of the status, problems, difficulties in medical image segmentation, the purpose and significance of this study are stated. We classify the existing segmentation methods in terms of parameters, especially discuss the significance of evaluation. To implement a segmentation of liver MR image, after a quadtree decomposition method is applied to the MR image, the minor parts are deleted and holes filled.The method is better than basic operation segmentation,so it can be applied in liver MRI segmentation.The segmentation method based on quadtree decomposition demonstrates the feasibility of the approach and lays foundation for helping doctor make pathologic analysis.
