| IPTV is a kind of telecommunication service which is bearing in IP network. How to provide the high-quality, low-jitter, and the management of the television program for the subscribers within the limited IP networks bandwidth as far as possible is technically very hard to achieve. So it gives a considerable challenge in IPTV encoding technology, IP bearer network security capabilities, and network-wide multicast capability.IPTV Service is very different with the usual Internet data service. So it set higher technical requirements for the current bearer network in terms of network bandwidth, QoS performance, reliability, security, and so on.In order to achieve the IPTV carrying Service, this article analyzes the service characteristics and the system structure of IPTV. According to the bandwidth and service quality requirements of the beared network, and combined with the status of existing bearer network as well as QoS technology development, the transformation of network structure and improving the QoS deployment strategy are put forward. To transformat the network structure, first of all, there is an analysis of the quality of the existing network basic services. Then many choices which are combined with IPTV business such as Multicast and Unicast service separation, multicast replication set-point program and other issues, are analyzed and compared. Finally, a transition program which can be realized quickly and a goal program which is better are raised. To improve the deployment the QoS strategy, the QoS model of telecommunication beared network is analyzed, so that we follow the principle of achieving Diffserv in MAN and non-blocking design in the access network. And combining the IPTV characteristics, the deployment of improving the existing network's QoS strategy has been put forward. This article also discusses the end-to-end QoS transformation program of multicast and unicast in detail. And finally, an actual QoS deployment and testing in a real telecommunications MAN environment verifies the validity of the above-mentioned IPTV bearer network QoS reform program. |
